00:00:12.087 --> 00:00:17.714
Stick around as we delve deep into innovations to support a better world.

00:00:25.304 --> 00:00:26.245
Hello and welcome to the show.

00:00:26.754 --> 00:00:31.742
Today's show is with John Morton and Lee Taylor Young from the Movement of Spiritual Inner Awareness.

00:00:32.704 --> 00:00:36.170
MSIA helps you discover who you truly are inside.

00:00:36.189 --> 00:00:45.725
They teach soul transcendence, becoming aware of yourself as a soul and as being one with God, not as a theory, but as healthy living reality.

00:00:46.786 --> 00:00:52.497
Their approach focuses on how to incorporate spirituality into your everyday life in a tangible, workable way.

00:00:52.537 --> 00:00:55.223
They call it practical spirituality.

00:00:55.865 --> 00:00:57.408
It's a wonderful show with John and Lee.

00:00:57.429 --> 00:00:58.771
I hope you enjoy it.

00:00:58.811 --> 00:00:59.493
Thank you so much.

00:01:00.816 --> 00:01:06.969
If you're looking to improve your memory or lower your stress and inflammation, you got to hear about our new sponsor, Ignaton.

00:01:08.290 --> 00:01:13.837
Igniton is the world's first quantum wellness brand, merging ancient energetics with cutting-edge physics.

00:01:14.237 --> 00:01:15.218
And this stuff really works.

00:01:15.319 --> 00:01:17.281
It's clinically proven, and we'll talk about that in a second.

00:01:18.082 --> 00:01:20.525
Their formulas are charged with something called ignitons.

00:01:21.106 --> 00:01:26.433
They're subatomic quasi-particles from the sun and originally identified in private research at CERN.

00:01:26.933 --> 00:01:27.936
This is heavy physics.

00:01:28.796 --> 00:01:35.646
Igniton's space-age technology entangles these particles with supplement ingredients to supercharge them and make them work better.

00:01:36.290 --> 00:01:37.572
Here's what makes this really exciting.

00:01:38.253 --> 00:01:49.030
In university-led, peer-reviewed studies, IgneCognition, Ignaton's flagship brain formula, was shown to improve total memory by 100% in just 30 days.

00:01:49.489 --> 00:01:52.816
That includes short-term, operational, and working memory.

00:01:52.835 --> 00:01:54.158
It's crazy.

00:01:54.819 --> 00:02:11.051
The IgneLongevity formula, their cellular stress and aging formulation, reduced inflammation markers, like C-reactive protein, or CRP, and interleukin-6, or IL-6, by 37% and 54% respectively in just 60 days.

00:02:11.794 --> 00:02:12.574
Huge impact.

00:02:13.616 --> 00:02:18.925
These studies were compared to both placebo and to the same supplement ingredients that were not charged with ignitons.

00:02:19.746 --> 00:02:20.467
This isn't hype.

00:02:20.687 --> 00:02:27.776
It's clinical, quantum-enhanced nutrition designed to help your body align with higher levels of clarity, coherence, and resilience.

00:02:28.516 --> 00:02:33.002
I've been using both formulations now for about 60 days, and seriously, I've never felt better.

00:02:33.021 --> 00:02:43.033
I'm sharper, I have more energy, I recover faster from my workouts, I don't get that afternoon swoon, and I'm even sleeping through the night, every night.

00:03:03.822 --> 00:03:06.405
Hello, John Morton and Lee Taylor Young.

00:03:06.645 --> 00:03:09.127
Nice to meet you both again and to see you both.

00:03:09.968 --> 00:03:11.430
Thank you so much for joining the show.

00:03:11.449 --> 00:03:13.592
I'm honored to have you here today.

00:03:14.818 --> 00:03:19.623
speaking with you and it's really a blessing for our listeners to get a chance to talk to you both as well.

00:03:19.683 --> 00:03:20.205
So thank you.

00:03:20.925 --> 00:03:25.951
Yes, it's been a pleasure to meet you in Boulder and we know your son.

00:03:25.972 --> 00:03:31.299
So Jackson and your wife as well.

00:03:31.378 --> 00:03:43.394
And so we're just glad to come in and see if we can do something interesting and whatever else comes forward in your focus and whatever you would like.

00:03:44.258 --> 00:03:44.579
Great.

00:03:44.618 --> 00:03:45.419
Well, thank you so much.

00:03:45.460 --> 00:03:53.132
Why don't we just start by introducing yourselves and the movement of spiritual inner awareness.

00:03:53.271 --> 00:03:58.340
Let's start there and talk about yourselves and your backgrounds and that and the mission.

00:03:58.479 --> 00:04:02.086
And we'll just kind of see where this conversation takes us.

00:04:02.866 --> 00:04:02.948
Okay.

00:04:03.247 --> 00:04:05.110
Okay.

00:04:05.611 --> 00:04:08.956
I would like my wife, Lee, because actually I think she was involved...

00:04:09.729 --> 00:04:15.556
with the Movement of Spiritual Inner Awareness, which is an organization founded by a man named John Roger.

00:04:15.576 --> 00:04:32.238
I would consider that's 1971 officially when it became a church, a nonprofit, but also a focus that has no denominations and it's considered in a way universal, philosophical.

00:04:33.100 --> 00:04:34.321
Here you go, what would you say?

00:04:35.062 --> 00:04:36.384
Well, I would say that...

00:04:38.146 --> 00:04:45.699
meeting our mutual teacher, John Roger, was beyond a life transformational beginning.

00:04:45.720 --> 00:04:59.163
I met him first, you could say almost by accident, but I now know in retrospect, not at all, in 1971 in Santa Barbara, when I was very much committed to Muktananda.

00:04:59.184 --> 00:05:07.208
I was involved with Siddha Yoga, Baba Muktananda, and I was introducing Baba.

00:05:07.709 --> 00:05:13.502
I was very shy, so I was the one Baba always chose to introduce him, which was terrifying.

00:05:13.543 --> 00:05:16.309
And I would say, are you really sure?

00:05:16.834 --> 00:05:22.182
He'd say, he'd look, give me the look like, yes.

00:05:22.521 --> 00:05:31.235
And so I knew if it felt like walking the plank or into a fire, I would do it for that reason, for a higher purpose.

00:05:31.834 --> 00:05:34.178
I was doing a sound check to introduce him.

00:05:34.199 --> 00:05:48.887
The doors of this church where this was going to take place opened and down the aisle came a gentleman with two friends coming came right up to the stage, put out his hand, and he introduced himself, and he said, hello, my name is John Roger.

00:05:48.927 --> 00:05:53.932
And I shook his hand, and I realized in retrospect that that's when it really began.

00:05:53.952 --> 00:06:04.762
I met him again in 1973, and I realized this was my teacher, and that all teachers are so incredibly valuable.

00:06:04.783 --> 00:06:08.146
All teachers lead us where we're to go.

00:06:08.165 --> 00:06:11.990
And when I found John Roger, it was...

00:06:12.577 --> 00:06:49.766
you know i've never looked back nor have i ever seen any guide now inner as he's passed from this world more potent in guiding me spiritually and now i have the blessing of being with and working with uh john morton who carries on john rogers work around the world so it has been an amazing life of learning growth I realized I've been called all the way along to every choice, whether I consciously knew it or not.

00:06:50.687 --> 00:06:58.557
I often more in retrospect, I realized I was perfectly called from my soul to my next moment of growth.

00:06:59.459 --> 00:07:01.321
And it just never stops.

00:07:02.541 --> 00:07:03.403
It never stops.

00:07:03.644 --> 00:07:10.903
And being married and in support of this magnificent being, Every day is school.

00:07:12.125 --> 00:07:13.485
Every day is school.

00:07:14.387 --> 00:07:15.848
And I chose it.

00:07:15.869 --> 00:07:21.795
I chose the hot seat and the hot ladder, but I'm climbing and I love it.

00:07:22.815 --> 00:07:24.257
Well, it sounds like you're doing great.

00:07:24.358 --> 00:07:26.259
And it looks like you're doing great too.

00:07:26.360 --> 00:07:28.382
So I thank you again for sharing that.

00:07:28.463 --> 00:07:30.845
And John, why don't you tell us about yourself too?

00:07:32.427 --> 00:07:32.766
All right.

00:07:34.069 --> 00:07:38.814
Well, I'll pick up what you asked about in some ways describing myself.

00:07:38.913 --> 00:07:40.757
What is the movement of spiritual awareness?

00:07:40.997 --> 00:07:47.028
And so for me, I remember some key moments in my life.

00:07:48.250 --> 00:07:59.245
For some reason, I expected that when I would graduate from college, and I did, from UC Davis, in 1972, that I would know what I was doing.

00:07:59.266 --> 00:08:01.108
I would know where I want to live.

00:08:01.127 --> 00:08:07.553
I would know what work I would be doing, maybe where I want to raise a family, things like this.

00:08:07.593 --> 00:08:18.223
And then when I really got close to graduation, I realized, if anything, I was more disillusioned about what was going to happen in my life.

00:08:18.303 --> 00:08:19.064
I really didn't know.

00:08:19.105 --> 00:08:23.990
So I was probably amongst many of my peers in a search.

00:08:24.449 --> 00:08:26.072
So that that's one part of it.

00:08:26.634 --> 00:08:27.475
It's very relatable.

00:08:28.336 --> 00:08:28.416
Yeah.

00:08:28.437 --> 00:08:30.639
And I really didn't know what am I looking for?

00:08:30.940 --> 00:08:33.764
And I didn't even know what that was.

00:08:33.865 --> 00:08:38.714
So I was going to lots of groups, uh, just to see, well, what does this one do?

00:08:38.754 --> 00:08:39.754
What is that one doing?

00:08:40.897 --> 00:08:44.602
Um, and not really finding anything that really pulled me in.

00:08:44.683 --> 00:08:46.846
So I would immerse myself.

00:08:47.227 --> 00:08:52.451
Um, so that, that did lead to, you know, uh, let's see, when was that?

00:08:52.471 --> 00:08:57.158
1974, a couple of years later, when I was a park ranger for the state of California.

00:08:57.941 --> 00:09:01.505
And one of the other park rangers just said what he was doing lately.

00:09:02.287 --> 00:09:04.750
And he mentioned spiritual awareness seminars.

00:09:04.811 --> 00:09:06.433
And I was like, what's that?

00:09:07.375 --> 00:09:14.145
Went to somebody's home, had an amazing experience, but I didn't really understand the experience, but it was very powerful.

00:09:14.265 --> 00:09:16.249
And then that created an interest.

00:09:16.830 --> 00:09:18.692
And let's see, that's 74.

00:09:18.852 --> 00:09:33.559
Then 1978, I had some experiences leading up to going to work with John Roger up close, personal, on his personal staff, traveling with him all over the world for years.

00:09:33.580 --> 00:09:40.590
And that led to me actually doing what is the succession of his work.

00:09:40.691 --> 00:09:42.974
So that's one way to look at what I do.

00:09:43.794 --> 00:09:47.520
And it's really about soul awareness and that the soul is the true self.

00:09:48.258 --> 00:09:50.061
It's the spiritual nature of who we are.

00:09:50.081 --> 00:09:57.150
Once we get onto that, then our life becomes something that makes more sense for sure.

00:09:57.171 --> 00:10:01.216
That doesn't mean we understand everything, but it certainly gives us purpose.

00:10:02.219 --> 00:10:05.283
And it's an inner directed movement.

00:10:06.043 --> 00:10:07.787
We don't have a mission.

00:10:08.307 --> 00:10:12.052
We don't have something like we have to convert humanity to this.

00:10:13.174 --> 00:10:14.937
It's much more individual.

00:10:15.586 --> 00:10:18.250
we often say, don't believe this.

00:10:18.289 --> 00:10:20.111
You need to have the experience.

00:10:20.692 --> 00:10:21.573
Have the experience.

00:10:22.195 --> 00:10:23.275
And there's a lot about that.

00:10:23.296 --> 00:10:25.519
We teach something called spiritual exercise.

00:10:25.558 --> 00:10:32.427
And it's about just waking up inside and calling on God's name.

00:10:32.447 --> 00:10:35.672
So we do initiations into God's names.

00:10:37.335 --> 00:10:42.081
And a lot of us should say, well, they do that in this group or that organization or that's what the Buddhists do.

00:10:42.260 --> 00:10:52.799
And We really, at the core, consider ourselves followers of the Christ, and then that becomes something like, well, you mean the one in the Bible and the Gospels?

00:10:52.820 --> 00:10:56.884
It's like, well, not necessarily that way, so we're not conventional.

00:10:57.865 --> 00:11:05.572
And often organizations or other people in organizations call us a cult or something like that.

00:11:05.592 --> 00:11:08.735
It's like, okay, but maybe what Jesus did was a cult.

00:11:09.537 --> 00:11:10.258
Right.

00:11:10.817 --> 00:11:12.019
you know, what is a cult?

00:11:12.239 --> 00:11:14.642
And if it's cult, I like the word cultivate.

00:11:14.721 --> 00:11:16.563
It's like, yeah, the seeds are planted.

00:11:16.583 --> 00:11:21.447
Are we going to raise the fruits and have a heart?

00:11:22.448 --> 00:11:24.532
So make it as simple as possible.

00:11:24.552 --> 00:11:29.216
And then we can go anywhere with whatever you want to look at, Ashley.

00:11:30.037 --> 00:11:32.840
Well, I'd like to go further on this.

00:11:32.860 --> 00:11:48.534
I mean, I'm, you know, I, I was, and I may have mentioned this to you when we met in Boulder, um, My own personal experience, I was raised under the fear of God mindset.

00:11:48.575 --> 00:11:54.664
Half of the family was Methodist, half of the family was Baptist.

00:11:55.466 --> 00:11:58.931
And we had to go to church every Sunday and Sunday school in the summers.

00:11:58.971 --> 00:12:01.916
And I never understood it.

00:12:01.936 --> 00:12:05.841
I never got it because why would you want to be scared of God?

00:12:06.274 --> 00:12:10.158
It just, it never took.

00:12:10.337 --> 00:12:19.508
And so as soon as I got old enough to make my own decisions to never go back to church, I never went back because it just turned me off completely.

00:12:19.528 --> 00:12:24.932
Now I have a healthy respect for God and spirit.

00:12:25.933 --> 00:12:27.796
I love God.

00:12:27.855 --> 00:12:28.876
I love my life.

00:12:28.917 --> 00:12:30.339
I'm grateful to God every day.

00:12:30.379 --> 00:12:32.160
I've been blessed beyond imagine.

00:12:34.177 --> 00:12:36.701
And we raised, you mentioned my son Jackson.

00:12:38.123 --> 00:12:47.974
We raised him in the Catholic environment primarily because where he was growing up, we didn't have, you know, the school systems weren't that great.

00:12:48.815 --> 00:12:53.961
And we tried a regular private school that wasn't that great.

00:12:55.423 --> 00:13:00.008
We really had heard wonderful things about the local Catholic school.

00:13:00.107 --> 00:13:13.533
And so we put him into that and my wife and I really wanted him to be, you know, in addition to what we were teaching him, we wanted him to have an understanding of, of God from a religious perspective so that he could make his own decisions.

00:13:14.355 --> 00:13:24.388
Um, and we kind of stayed with that as we moved from the Midwest to Colorado, um, because it was easy to keep him in the same day to day routines.

00:13:24.509 --> 00:13:27.312
You know, the Catholic school system is basically the same everywhere you go.

00:13:27.413 --> 00:13:32.291
So when we moved, we thought, okay, why, why disrupt his, his, his peace.

00:13:32.812 --> 00:13:46.673
Uh, and so we kept him in that system, but you know, we, we really have never been, you know, as a family, um, denominational when it comes to, to religion and, and spirit.

00:13:46.913 --> 00:14:29.077
And so I would like for you to maybe expand a little bit because what you're talking about, um, spiritual awareness, I'm hoping it resonates with a lot of people who are, um, know listening to this who maybe are are missing something in their lives um or you know or maybe have been turned off from organized religion much like i was i can't believe that i'm alone in that experience um and so i would love for you to share just to you know go let's go a little deeper on what is it exactly that you're helping folks um find and achieve in their life with with the movement of spiritual inner awareness

00:14:30.306 --> 00:14:42.243
I'm just so drawn and touched to your story about your childhood because I had a different one, but one of the things that I've learned is I'm a bit of a scholar.

00:14:42.344 --> 00:14:44.386
I like to go back and look at scripture.

00:14:44.486 --> 00:14:53.740
I'm not a Bible person, but I'm interested in what has put in motion such significant systems of spiritual thought.

00:14:54.221 --> 00:15:02.062
And What I see is that the Old Testament up till Moses, who their God was Yahweh, Jehovah.

00:15:02.081 --> 00:15:23.585
He was fierce, judgmental, and Moses used this terror to kind of work with his people with an order of law, because he was dealing with some say 500,000 immigrants from Egypt, that he was in charge of socializing and guiding.

00:15:24.865 --> 00:15:30.053
And that sort of fear of God got very input into a system.

00:15:30.774 --> 00:15:32.217
And that was a covenant.

00:15:32.999 --> 00:15:36.745
The 10 laws are a covenant with God.

00:15:36.784 --> 00:15:44.518
And then we go to Jesus, it's a new covenant, the law of grace, love.

00:15:45.186 --> 00:15:48.673
So Jesus said, I'm here to fulfill the law.

00:15:49.274 --> 00:15:52.981
But then he brought a new covenant, which was love and grace.

00:15:53.602 --> 00:15:57.951
If you go to the book of John, he that lives in God lives in love.

00:15:57.971 --> 00:16:01.820
He that lives in love is attuned to God.

00:16:02.260 --> 00:16:06.528
Now you have, in a sense, a new God, almost a new quality.

00:16:07.042 --> 00:16:30.662
that people are being introduced to through the christ to love your neighbor as yourself to care to serve and to love god with all your heart body mind and soul and your neighbor the same this is a whole new world of relating to life which What they did in the New Testament, what religion did with it is another story.

00:16:30.822 --> 00:16:35.230
It's what man does with these things, not what God may be saying.

00:16:35.971 --> 00:16:40.317
And I think what MSIA does is awakens people.

00:16:40.980 --> 00:16:43.062
They are that God inside.

00:16:43.364 --> 00:16:49.234
They are that love inside and the authority for true ascension.

00:16:49.505 --> 00:17:17.490
is inside and this is what john teaches this is what john communicates all over the world is waking people up to the authority of their hearts and their souls that they're the source of that loving that contentment that inspiration it's not in law in the end because then you become you cease to attune to your own authority of spirit.

00:17:18.553 --> 00:17:22.896
You are looking for something to intercede, which is essentially a man.

00:17:22.916 --> 00:17:31.405
And that's, you know, Jesus upset everybody by telling people, ye are gods.

00:17:31.826 --> 00:17:32.707
It's like, wake up.

00:17:33.548 --> 00:17:34.388
You have this.

00:17:34.429 --> 00:17:42.657
Those Pharisees and Sadducees did not like that, you know, because it took away their power.

00:17:43.617 --> 00:17:50.146
And if there was one thing that soul transcendence that John teaches, it's an empowerment in the spirit.

00:17:51.288 --> 00:17:55.673
So people become so full of love because they love themselves.

00:17:56.615 --> 00:18:01.862
They find that golden side that is pure love and live from that place.

00:18:03.523 --> 00:18:04.705
Isn't that what it is?

00:18:06.749 --> 00:18:07.650
She did very good.

00:18:08.001 --> 00:18:16.212
just obviously of what we do and then demonstrated that even though she says that I'm not a Bible person, she knows a lot about the Bible.

00:18:16.953 --> 00:18:17.173
Yeah,

00:18:17.213 --> 00:18:17.515
clearly.

00:18:17.535 --> 00:18:27.909
She's somebody who can do that, can read very in-depth books and information and then speak to it very powerfully.

00:18:27.929 --> 00:18:42.474
You know, and I also look at this as our natural ability As I see it, it's in a process referred to as a discovery and exploration and adventure.

00:18:42.515 --> 00:18:44.940
That's really what life is in this world.

00:18:44.980 --> 00:18:52.252
I look to answers and I certainly was like anybody, I think, seeking like, who am I?

00:18:52.294 --> 00:18:53.095
Where did I come from?

00:18:53.134 --> 00:18:54.176
What is this world?

00:18:54.817 --> 00:19:01.230
If we don't ask those questions, like, well, then tell me if you're an authority on what is this world?

00:19:01.290 --> 00:19:02.112
What's its purpose?

00:19:02.152 --> 00:19:03.034
How did we get here?

00:19:03.054 --> 00:19:05.798
A lot of that's tremendously mysterious.

00:19:05.818 --> 00:19:09.026
And then is there life after death?

00:19:10.465 --> 00:19:12.851
You know, and who's an authority on that?

00:19:14.032 --> 00:19:27.200
So if people have the experiences, and there are many, many people, I don't know what the percentages are, but there are huge numbers of people do have experiences that are not of this world.

00:19:27.941 --> 00:19:31.528
And then you can say, well, you're hallucinating or You're imagining that.

00:19:31.769 --> 00:19:34.054
Well, that's just because you don't have the experience.

00:19:34.115 --> 00:19:40.609
So why are you an authority if you don't know what I'm seeing or experiencing that's not in this world?

00:19:40.650 --> 00:19:58.196
And I look at that, that that's really much more something like logical or reasonable that There are other worlds with life, intelligent life, maybe much more intelligent than human beings in this planet.

00:19:59.479 --> 00:20:01.603
And just to consider, well, how would that be ordered?

00:20:02.223 --> 00:20:03.405
Well, that's another mystery.

00:20:04.428 --> 00:20:07.712
And I look at it that there's higher consciousness.

00:20:07.953 --> 00:20:18.355
And if I was going to choose who would I want to associate with, I'd want to associate with the most intelligent beings, and then what would they be telling us by their intelligence?

00:20:18.434 --> 00:20:23.780
And I look at, in my consciousness, the most intelligent way to be is loving.

00:20:25.061 --> 00:20:27.204
If anybody said, well, what do I do?

00:20:27.424 --> 00:20:29.446
And I'd say, well, just find a way to be loving.

00:20:29.487 --> 00:20:39.777
I'm not saying that's easy, but it is what will always bring the best opportunities, the best choices in how I have experienced it.

00:20:40.417 --> 00:20:47.929
And then we're learning how to overcome what we call the lower nature, the basic nature in our consciousness.

00:20:48.108 --> 00:20:50.613
And I think there's a lot of evidence that we do evolve.

00:20:50.673 --> 00:20:53.115
We have evolved from a lower nature.

00:20:53.155 --> 00:20:55.098
Then is it creative?

00:20:55.640 --> 00:20:59.545
Did man come from clay?

00:20:59.605 --> 00:21:07.215
Some powerful god from somewhere just made a man and then said, oh, you want to help me?

00:21:08.450 --> 00:21:10.692
I'm going to take your rib and I'm going to make you help me.

00:21:10.952 --> 00:21:16.419
Well, you know, I don't find that very reasonable and I don't understand.

00:21:16.439 --> 00:21:19.462
It's a very mysterious explanation of how did we all get here.

00:21:20.943 --> 00:21:23.587
But I do look at like maybe it's something mysterious.

00:21:23.948 --> 00:21:24.648
That's okay.

00:21:25.710 --> 00:21:29.554
But more importantly, what do we all individually do with our life?

00:21:29.734 --> 00:21:33.398
And then I found, well, I want to do something to make my life better.

00:21:33.519 --> 00:21:38.160
And I was inclined to help make life better, help others.

00:21:38.700 --> 00:21:40.481
I knew that at a pretty early age.

00:21:40.501 --> 00:21:43.644
I wanted to help others, which led to...

00:21:43.684 --> 00:21:44.685
Feels good, doesn't it?

00:21:45.006 --> 00:21:46.127
Life of service, yes.

00:21:47.828 --> 00:22:03.744
There's something about it that if we do something to make our situation better just in our life, and then if we can extend that to help others have a better life, I think if we were doing that more, this world would be a lot different than it is.

00:22:04.865 --> 00:22:18.269
You know, on that note, if people also with what he does to kind of ignite people to that awakening that they carry it inside and how to find it, I think that's a lot of what the teaching is.

00:22:18.489 --> 00:22:28.125
It's a given in our way of experiencing that the soul is here in everyone and the spirit is everywhere.

00:22:28.258 --> 00:22:35.941
is in everyone, to what degree it's awakened and enlightened is our choice and our calling or not.

00:22:36.804 --> 00:22:42.622
And I've always liked to say that choice is a human being's superpower.

00:22:43.650 --> 00:22:48.696
We get to choose everything, including how we think, how we feel.

00:22:48.717 --> 00:22:52.301
Are we letting feelings be the authority in our life?

00:22:52.342 --> 00:22:54.904
We feel good, we feel bad, and we're going to go with that.

00:22:55.665 --> 00:23:07.442
Or if we're not feeling so well, is it a moment of choice where we can say, I'm going to take the authority over how I'm going to choose joy?

00:23:08.034 --> 00:23:08.976
I'm going to choose.

00:23:08.996 --> 00:23:15.526
And there's a response inside that recognizes these positive things that wants to come in allegiance with it.

00:23:15.605 --> 00:23:19.491
But we're the ones that have to take the authority to guide it to that.

00:23:19.772 --> 00:23:30.410
John also teaches something, as did John Roger and an MSIA, that we carry, in a sense, the words we use and words we know are limited.

00:23:30.721 --> 00:23:32.445
to true spiritual experience.

00:23:33.146 --> 00:23:46.075
It's almost a paltry attempt to describe something way beyond words, but the teaching that we all have an inner master inside, that the guidance is found within.

00:23:46.115 --> 00:23:50.358
So how do we go through all the voices that affect us?

00:23:50.598 --> 00:23:51.400
Are they mental?

00:23:51.480 --> 00:23:52.402
Are they emotional?

00:23:52.682 --> 00:23:53.864
Are they habitual?

00:23:54.625 --> 00:23:58.809
That are leading us into behavior that we may like in the end and we may not like.

00:23:59.371 --> 00:24:04.237
But how can we head it off at the curb and be the authority to go this way?

00:24:05.739 --> 00:24:07.340
And that really takes practice.

00:24:08.082 --> 00:24:10.104
That takes discipline and choice.

00:24:11.066 --> 00:24:17.534
And those choices and those disciplines are a lot of what MSIA does.

00:24:17.698 --> 00:24:24.066
provides is how do we start to respond to these questions?

00:24:24.685 --> 00:24:25.567
Why am I here?

00:24:26.347 --> 00:24:27.348
What am I here for?

00:24:27.388 --> 00:24:37.862
There's a lot of guidance in MSIA that's profound and I think reflects a lot of what people often think inside.

00:24:37.922 --> 00:24:40.124
So when you read it, you go, I know that.

00:24:40.144 --> 00:24:41.486
I know that.

00:24:41.506 --> 00:24:51.941
It's like a lighting up rather than a church with a system of thought telling you what to think, telling you what to feel or behave.

00:24:52.682 --> 00:25:00.076
It's inside you and you end up going, I'm in allegiance with this because this is goodness of my soul.

00:25:00.096 --> 00:25:00.175
Well,

00:25:01.377 --> 00:25:02.619
that's what Jesus said, right?

00:25:02.861 --> 00:25:05.905
I mean, the kingdom of heaven resides within you.

00:25:05.925 --> 00:25:08.210
He never said it was out here.

00:25:08.830 --> 00:25:09.432
Not ever.

00:25:10.817 --> 00:25:14.923
And powers that be in those days really didn't like that.

00:25:14.943 --> 00:25:24.920
And there's another aspect of his life and teaching, and it's quite central to what we teach, but we also teach about the Buddha consciousness.

00:25:25.942 --> 00:25:34.375
Muhammad is somebody we look at as had authority, had a teaching that was very Bible.

00:25:34.394 --> 00:25:36.077
They all converge into love, right?

00:25:36.117 --> 00:25:38.821
I mean, that's where the convergence comes together, right?

00:25:39.298 --> 00:25:47.905
Yes, and I think it's important that people, like each person really considers, well, what am I led to?

00:25:48.207 --> 00:25:49.387
What am I inspired by?

00:25:49.407 --> 00:25:53.191
But to look at what is your vision?

00:25:53.791 --> 00:26:00.618
So if your vision is something that is inclusive of others, so you would want a better life for others also.

00:26:00.659 --> 00:26:05.864
And is there a way to contribute that so that we have a better life?

00:26:06.463 --> 00:26:11.809
I think that's one of the purposes Like how do we incarnate into this world?

00:26:12.490 --> 00:26:19.479
We often refer to it as embodiment because it's much more about having a body for a temporary time.

00:26:19.519 --> 00:26:24.365
And then there's re-embodiment or reincarnation, whatever that's called.

00:26:25.185 --> 00:26:31.814
But until somebody knows that in a direct way, it's just information or, oh, that's just a theory.

00:26:31.854 --> 00:26:33.615
And I don't believe in it.

00:26:34.396 --> 00:26:35.198
Okay.

00:26:35.394 --> 00:26:38.238
But if you take a stance, like, well, I don't believe it.

00:26:38.278 --> 00:26:39.098
That's not possible.

00:26:39.138 --> 00:26:39.859
I don't like that.

00:26:41.001 --> 00:26:44.546
Watch out, because you may be closing yourself off to what it is.

00:26:44.566 --> 00:26:52.116
And the overwhelming aspects of what I see and who we are is it's a beautiful story.

00:26:52.176 --> 00:26:58.846
It's something that's already directed very powerfully by whatever you want to call the source.

00:26:59.586 --> 00:27:06.476
So I said, well, let's use God, and that's a good name until God says, well, no, I have this name.

00:27:07.616 --> 00:27:08.818
And I look at it that way.

00:27:08.858 --> 00:27:12.663
Okay, we can find somewhere to start.

00:27:13.645 --> 00:27:17.111
And I often tell people, you know, you can pray.

00:27:17.131 --> 00:27:18.972
And they go, well, I don't know how to pray.

00:27:19.093 --> 00:27:21.316
I often find people, like, no one really taught me to pray.

00:27:21.356 --> 00:27:22.979
My parents didn't teach me how to pray.

00:27:22.999 --> 00:27:30.037
I went to Lutheran Church, which was my father's church, and But it was not every week.

00:27:31.038 --> 00:27:33.201
So we were like Easter Sunday or holidays.

00:27:34.864 --> 00:27:37.608
And then my mom was raised Baptist, Southern Baptist.

00:27:37.669 --> 00:27:40.173
And that was also different.

00:27:40.252 --> 00:27:42.436
And she would have some stories, you know, about.

00:27:42.596 --> 00:27:43.337
I know all about that.

00:27:43.778 --> 00:27:46.363
Who was at the pulpit and what they were saying at the pulpit.

00:27:46.383 --> 00:27:48.586
It was not exactly encouraging messages.

00:27:51.090 --> 00:27:52.953
Like starting with, you are sinners.

00:27:53.413 --> 00:27:54.797
And here, let's go into that.

00:27:55.874 --> 00:27:57.817
Like, yeah, punishment.

00:27:57.897 --> 00:28:06.814
And so I look at, you know, if we look at God is love, and this is in John, in the Gospel of John.

00:28:06.874 --> 00:28:08.096
It starts that way.

00:28:08.938 --> 00:28:09.798
It just starts there.

00:28:09.878 --> 00:28:10.440
God is love.

00:28:10.500 --> 00:28:12.663
And that's a beautiful message.

00:28:13.885 --> 00:28:13.926
It

00:28:13.946 --> 00:28:14.366
really is.

00:28:15.789 --> 00:28:15.869
Yeah.

00:28:16.001 --> 00:28:22.813
And one of our primary teachings is from John Roger is out of God comes all things.

00:28:23.594 --> 00:28:28.741
So we have a one creator and God loves all of his creation.

00:28:30.525 --> 00:28:33.210
You know, there's people at Instagram, what do you mean?

00:28:33.250 --> 00:28:35.814
You love violence and you love hatred.

00:28:35.894 --> 00:28:43.365
And well, how are we going to change it if we don't somehow love it as the greatest power to change it?

00:28:43.809 --> 00:28:45.432
And that's what I would say to people.

00:28:45.531 --> 00:28:52.419
It's intelligent to love, because it's the power that has the most power to change things.

00:28:53.721 --> 00:29:01.910
And I think Jesus, and many others, I mean, we could take many examples of brilliant beings, we'll call them saints, call them anointed ones.

00:29:02.430 --> 00:29:03.010
Avatars.

00:29:04.152 --> 00:29:12.520
Yeah, you know, what did they teach by their life, that their life was demonstrated by how they lived, and often their choices were very difficult.

00:29:13.346 --> 00:29:18.833
that they weren't popular and there was tremendous resistance, if not against us.

00:29:19.212 --> 00:29:24.099
And they often paid prices, big prices for how they lived.

00:29:24.800 --> 00:29:29.046
And I look at like, well, still in that world where it's not easy.

00:29:29.086 --> 00:29:36.355
Well, I think it also, I'd love your thoughts on this because I've run into this even with just friends over the years.

00:29:36.414 --> 00:29:44.221
I mean, this idea that the kingdom of heaven resides within us and we are all God in our own way.

00:29:44.261 --> 00:29:45.424
We have the divine spark.

00:29:47.650 --> 00:29:50.738
Not everybody responds to that very well, not just the Pharisees.

00:29:50.758 --> 00:30:04.249
I mean, even today, you know, people I talk to who maybe knew me back when, you know, back when I maybe wasn't the greatest person, you know, and they think, well, what a hypocrite that person is for saying that, right?

00:30:04.269 --> 00:30:08.776
Because how can someone who did X, Y, and Z actually be God?

00:30:09.336 --> 00:30:24.829
And it takes a, it takes a high degree of personal responsibility to go with that message and to then live and to, and to maybe change your life if you need to, or to take on that, that responsibility.

00:30:24.849 --> 00:30:27.453
And I think a lot of people just don't want to go there.

00:30:27.493 --> 00:30:35.967
And I'd love to just know your thoughts on that and what you've seen, if you've seen similar situation in your travels with people.

00:30:36.086 --> 00:30:44.059
And if it's just the, it's so easy to avoid that responsibility, but if you really want to think about what this means, it creates a responsibility.

00:30:44.099 --> 00:30:45.582
That's that's quite awesome.

00:30:46.594 --> 00:30:49.061
One of my favorite prophets is Jeremiah.

00:30:49.984 --> 00:30:59.718
And the reason is not necessarily because of the context of the history around it with Israel, but he was a truth teller.

00:31:00.801 --> 00:31:06.809
And God was alive in him and ignited when he was around 12 years old and went into the temple.

00:31:07.250 --> 00:31:08.551
He started seeing things.

00:31:08.772 --> 00:31:10.295
He started knowing things.

00:31:10.875 --> 00:31:16.282
And he was being asked to speak and he was shy and he was afraid.

00:31:16.923 --> 00:31:22.510
But he's one of the greatest examples of when the majority around you does not agree with you.

00:31:22.530 --> 00:31:30.060
He was tortured, all these things, but he always stood up to what he knew to be the way, which was love.

00:31:30.721 --> 00:31:59.076
and he was a forerunner in saying the law of god is written in your heart so go inside to where it's truly written in the heart so i think these people all through time are the minority we're the minority in this world i mean just look at our world we're the minority we we believe that love is the way the greatest radical power well We may see a world like that.

00:31:59.115 --> 00:31:59.977
We may not.

00:32:00.538 --> 00:32:03.161
And maybe that's not the purpose to change this world.

00:32:03.741 --> 00:32:08.606
Maybe the true purpose in our being here is to ascend into the God self.

00:32:08.646 --> 00:32:09.488
This is school.

00:32:09.528 --> 00:32:14.773
We're going to learn what works for us, what we're going to follow.

00:32:14.794 --> 00:32:17.317
Are we going to withstand the judgment?

00:32:17.356 --> 00:32:22.782
Are we going to stay true to what we're looking for, seeking and practicing?

00:32:22.823 --> 00:32:24.925
Or are we going to give it up?

00:32:25.218 --> 00:32:30.787
to be agreeable, to be liked, to be in way with it all.

00:32:30.906 --> 00:32:40.303
I mean, I think we see the greatest drama in the world going on in our government to stand up and not be afraid if you're standing up to truth.

00:32:40.963 --> 00:32:44.189
Because in this case, you might be paying a big price.

00:32:45.070 --> 00:32:48.036
It takes courage to be with the truth of love.

00:32:48.336 --> 00:32:49.178
It takes courage.

00:32:50.145 --> 00:32:54.653
And is that the way we want to live or do we want to live the way all these people are around us?

00:32:55.093 --> 00:33:00.661
And to be held accountable to our past is something that really bothers me when people do it.

00:33:01.501 --> 00:33:10.915
Is if a snapshot was taken at our worst moment, is that what we want to be told is the definition of our life 20 years ago?

00:33:10.955 --> 00:33:13.819
Or is it what we're choosing now?

00:33:13.859 --> 00:33:17.625
And if we're held accountable to that, I don't want to know those people.

00:33:18.306 --> 00:33:21.329
I don't want to spend social time with them.

00:33:21.451 --> 00:33:24.234
They're going to go that way.

00:33:24.255 --> 00:33:25.056
They can have it.

00:33:25.616 --> 00:33:34.871
I'm not going to try and change them, but I want to stay true to ascension of the soul and in goodness and in service.

00:33:35.791 --> 00:33:37.554
And it's not always an easy path.

00:33:39.196 --> 00:33:44.728
Well, one of the aspects that you're bringing up here, is redemption.

00:33:44.768 --> 00:33:45.849
Is there redemption?

00:33:45.930 --> 00:33:51.298
And I consider absolutely there's redemption, because otherwise, where's the inspiration going to come from?

00:33:51.337 --> 00:34:08.431
If we're convicted of our sins or transgressions, and I do consider there's a causal law, a law that what you put out comes back, and it's in the perfect order, in an exact measure, And we teach this.

00:34:09.612 --> 00:34:11.195
Nobody's exempt from this law.

00:34:11.215 --> 00:34:12.958
So the highest being is not exempt.

00:34:13.197 --> 00:34:14.380
The king is not exempt.

00:34:15.240 --> 00:34:16.983
So we're all subject to that.

00:34:17.023 --> 00:34:26.538
And I think most people see something like that, that we call it the law of reversibility.

00:34:26.577 --> 00:34:28.119
It's going to come back.

00:34:29.181 --> 00:34:34.750
And when it doesn't, it's not necessary that we're going to remember it, that we have forgotten it.

00:34:35.425 --> 00:34:43.034
And then when we consider, well, maybe I have past lives and I have that law of reversibility too, and I don't remember it.

00:34:43.054 --> 00:34:50.782
And I say, isn't that interesting that we would come in with something like a veil that just puts forgetfulness.

00:34:51.041 --> 00:35:00.751
And what I help people see is maybe that's in your favor to forget what's back there because you are a better person now.

00:35:01.452 --> 00:35:02.554
You are more intelligent.

00:35:03.106 --> 00:35:06.389
you have evolved in where you come from.

00:35:06.409 --> 00:35:15.320
And if we constantly look back and find the fault, then that's also something that can be in the law of reversibility, that we feel guilty.

00:35:15.340 --> 00:35:20.606
And a lot of people have an unworthiness, a sense of I'm no good.

00:35:20.626 --> 00:35:22.570
They say, where'd you get this from?

00:35:22.590 --> 00:35:24.052
And they don't know.

00:35:24.092 --> 00:35:32.402
And some people do have an early life, early childhood that's terrible.

00:35:32.994 --> 00:35:33.815
and what they were around.

00:35:34.596 --> 00:35:37.882
No wonder they're having a difficulty from that.

00:35:38.081 --> 00:35:44.452
But I find a lot of people, they don't know where they've got this guilt, this unworthiness from.

00:35:44.492 --> 00:35:45.733
It's just there.

00:35:45.753 --> 00:35:46.996
I said, well, that's okay.

00:35:47.456 --> 00:35:48.117
Let's clear it.

00:35:49.278 --> 00:35:51.242
And we teach forgiveness.

00:35:52.143 --> 00:35:54.206
And they say, well, what's forgiveness based on?

00:35:55.409 --> 00:35:56.570
We can take your sin away.

00:35:56.610 --> 00:35:58.753
There's a power, whatever you call it.

00:35:59.114 --> 00:36:00.597
I consider it is a God power.

00:36:01.570 --> 00:36:08.539
But it also is one, and do better now, because you're still subject to the law.

00:36:08.599 --> 00:36:13.244
So if you go rob banks, well, you're not immune from the law.

00:36:14.847 --> 00:36:15.708
But there's a better way.

00:36:15.748 --> 00:36:25.320
There's another way where you can have what you want, and others can have what they want, but you don't have to be a liar, a cheat, you know, someone who hurts other people.

00:36:26.663 --> 00:36:28.786
That will only lead to that for yourself.

00:36:29.313 --> 00:36:34.318
And the intelligence, do you want to have hurting somebody, then it's going to come back to you?

00:36:34.338 --> 00:36:36.380
I don't think you want that.

00:36:37.442 --> 00:36:42.487
So the intelligence would be stop doing the things that mess up a life.

00:36:44.068 --> 00:36:45.730
Have a moment of a redemption.

00:36:45.750 --> 00:36:48.371
We do baptisms in our church.

00:36:49.313 --> 00:36:53.197
We do them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

00:36:53.217 --> 00:36:55.259
Well, I think that's what John the Baptist did.

00:36:55.298 --> 00:36:56.579
It's like, there you go.

00:36:58.202 --> 00:36:58.302
Right.

00:36:58.626 --> 00:36:59.907
And then, well, is it real?

00:36:59.927 --> 00:37:03.773
And then people have the experience like something happened.

00:37:03.813 --> 00:37:08.699
I go, I'm also the philosophy, like a placebo.

00:37:09.800 --> 00:37:10.461
There we

00:37:11.083 --> 00:37:11.242
go.

00:37:12.244 --> 00:37:13.166
Hey, if it works.

00:37:13.565 --> 00:37:14.427
I agree a hundred percent.

00:37:14.447 --> 00:37:17.150
I mean, if you go, what does it matter what you call it?

00:37:17.190 --> 00:37:21.878
You come out of the baptism and you're treating your wife and your children a lot better.

00:37:21.918 --> 00:37:23.420
You're a nicer person.

00:37:24.400 --> 00:37:27.465
Hey, I don't care if we could hypnotize you.

00:37:28.289 --> 00:37:31.733
take it and have a better life.

00:37:32.293 --> 00:37:43.586
And so a lot of what I see in it is just move it, move the dynamic in our life and to consider there is a life after this world.

00:37:44.648 --> 00:37:52.157
That's the main part of what we teach is the soul is not just an embodiment, not just a lifetime.

00:37:52.177 --> 00:37:52.197
I

00:37:53.577 --> 00:37:56.862
think forgiveness, you mentioned forgiveness and it's such a powerful word.

00:37:57.378 --> 00:38:13.581
thing and i think it really it starts with yourself doesn't it i mean you you have to forgive yourself for the mistakes you've made but because oftentimes without making those mistakes maybe you wouldn't have come to the realization of where you are now

00:38:14.603 --> 00:38:29.557
yes and and when uh you know i haven't jesus this is maybe someone's saying no it wasn't over here but in any case to the degree you forgive you are forgiven But if you forgive yourself completely, then you can forgive others.

00:38:29.617 --> 00:38:40.990
But if you don't, you know, and I experienced that in myself, you know, because if I look at what other people's behavior is, I don't necessarily like it.

00:38:41.010 --> 00:38:45.295
I may resent, I may judge it.

00:38:45.797 --> 00:38:48.338
And I realized I have to watch that.

00:38:48.358 --> 00:38:50.461
I have to keep a vigilance up.

00:38:50.914 --> 00:38:55.880
that I don't get into judgment because it's a powerful energy in and of itself.

00:38:56.041 --> 00:38:56.141
It's

00:38:56.260 --> 00:38:57.101
attractive.

00:38:57.603 --> 00:39:02.228
Whatever we believe, that's going to come back to you.

00:39:02.268 --> 00:39:05.773
There's just a law of attraction.

00:39:05.893 --> 00:39:07.476
I'm good with that.

00:39:08.456 --> 00:39:09.978
That's been around for a while.

00:39:10.980 --> 00:39:13.744
But it's also the law of karma, whatever you call it.

00:39:14.744 --> 00:39:16.126
We're responsible creators.

00:39:16.827 --> 00:39:21.827
But you can turn then and go, you can That's good news that you're responsible for your life.

00:39:21.847 --> 00:39:23.449
Turn it towards a better life.

00:39:23.510 --> 00:39:24.492
What would you like to create?

00:39:24.773 --> 00:39:26.094
Start doing those things.

00:39:27.257 --> 00:39:28.760
Judgment's very enticing, isn't it?

00:39:28.780 --> 00:39:35.753
I mean, our entire culture, our media, everything is designed to get you to judge.

00:39:37.117 --> 00:39:37.597
Yeah.

00:39:37.985 --> 00:39:44.273
you know rather than forgive forgiveness never makes an appearance on on the evening news or rarely does

00:39:44.914 --> 00:40:01.331
wonderful uh one of the phrases we use in the forgiveness process i forgive myself for judging so and so uh before i even say i forgive them even they might have committed the offense i'm reacting to the offense and i'm judging it

00:40:01.371 --> 00:40:02.753
i

00:40:02.813 --> 00:40:10.827
want to let that go in myself first i forgive myself for judging what this is and then move to forgiving them.

00:40:12.369 --> 00:40:12.608
Yeah.

00:40:13.110 --> 00:40:14.731
We also teach forgetting.

00:40:14.751 --> 00:40:14.771
I

00:40:16.434 --> 00:40:17.155
like that better.

00:40:18.016 --> 00:40:19.117
Don't bring it up.

00:40:19.318 --> 00:40:29.351
I have a master's in counseling, so I learned what regression is as a psychological therapy or whatever you call it.

00:40:30.532 --> 00:40:34.538
And I think there is some value, obviously, to take a look at what's bothering you.

00:40:37.538 --> 00:41:06.458
surface this but not dwell on it well let's find out about everything and we'll spend 40 sessions and just digging up the dirt like what purpose is this if we're not getting into something like is it clearing something else and I think that was the message with Lot and his family when they were leaving Sodom and Gomorrah like don't look back very powerful message and then we'll What?

00:41:06.518 --> 00:41:08.282
His wife turned into a pillar of salt?

00:41:08.342 --> 00:41:08.661
I mean, huh?

00:41:11.246 --> 00:41:13.789
And I go, okay, but there's still a message there.

00:41:13.809 --> 00:41:21.081
If you're going to go on and have a better life, don't spend time digging up and remembering.

00:41:21.101 --> 00:41:33.822
I remember the time you and anybody in a relationship, in marriage, if you just keep bringing up when I was bothered when you said this and you didn't do that, and then what does that become?

00:41:34.306 --> 00:41:52.655
argument a fight you know we're not i don't want to be with you or i mean that's like well stop that change how you're relating towards the loving and the caring and yeah there's some learning to do for sure that we teach this as a classroom this world

00:41:53.858 --> 00:42:04.626
yeah that resonates with me i you know the whole idea of not looking back as something i've i've lived most of my life with i i really I move on quite well from things and don't look back.

00:42:05.027 --> 00:42:08.634
The hardest things not to look back on are the things that are inward.

00:42:09.275 --> 00:42:19.570
Those are, you know, the, the personal, you know, the personal judging, the personal forgiveness, like as often it's, it's much easier I find to forgive others and to forget.

00:42:19.632 --> 00:42:29.036
But to, to have the confidence that, you know, the power of God is within and, I'm continuing to evolve every day.

00:42:29.077 --> 00:42:36.346
I think a lot of people are in that position as well as they move through this journey that we're all in.

00:42:36.365 --> 00:42:41.413
I've often referenced the New Jersey blessing.

00:42:41.693 --> 00:42:42.393
Forget about it.

00:42:45.117 --> 00:42:47.719
Do the New Jersey blessing.

00:42:48.141 --> 00:42:48.722
That's good.

00:42:49.474 --> 00:42:53.280
And it is something like, you mean I can forget about it?

00:42:53.360 --> 00:42:59.007
I don't have to remember and then feel like I have to flagellate myself or punish myself for what I did back there.

00:42:59.047 --> 00:43:06.820
Another message that Jesus had that was so beautiful for me is when you do the forgiveness, it's a new day.

00:43:06.860 --> 00:43:11.668
That's what crucifixion to resurrection represents to me.

00:43:11.708 --> 00:43:19.338
In resurrection, you're new and you've gone through all of this And you're new.

00:43:19.378 --> 00:43:22.603
And so you don't want people holding you to the past.

00:43:22.965 --> 00:43:26.429
But most of all, as you said, actually, you don't want to hold yourself to it.

00:43:27.891 --> 00:43:31.777
To accept and embrace that you're really born new.

00:43:31.797 --> 00:43:33.400
I love that.

00:43:34.181 --> 00:43:35.023
Yeah, that's wonderful.

00:43:35.143 --> 00:43:36.244
It's very beautiful.

00:43:36.324 --> 00:43:40.190
I guess I would, you know, I could talk to you guys all day.

00:43:40.210 --> 00:43:43.936
We may have to do another episode or two.

00:43:45.313 --> 00:43:51.440
I'd like to kind of step back a little bit and just talk about, you know, you mentioned, both of you have mentioned John Roger.

00:43:51.480 --> 00:44:03.550
You know, I think we would be, the audience would be, would benefit from learning a little bit more about John Roger.

00:44:03.570 --> 00:44:06.213
I mean, he was the founder of MSAA, am I correct?

00:44:08.016 --> 00:44:08.195
Yes.

00:44:09.496 --> 00:44:14.621
Maybe talk a little bit about that, about him and what drew you both together.

00:44:14.882 --> 00:44:19.208
to that message and that you've continued, you know, since his passing?

00:44:21.594 --> 00:44:26.302
Oh, well, his story is, and it's an amazing story.

00:44:26.342 --> 00:44:32.492
And there's, you know, a book, the one with Polly Sanderson.

00:44:32.552 --> 00:44:33.815
When Are You Coming Home?

00:44:34.014 --> 00:44:34.936
When Are You Coming Home?

00:44:34.956 --> 00:44:39.684
I mean, people went on to the msi.org, msi.org.

00:44:40.545 --> 00:44:42.807
website and then look for products.

00:44:43.389 --> 00:44:52.438
When Are You Coming Home is kind of a biography about him by somebody who worked with him when he was an English, high school English school teacher.

00:44:52.458 --> 00:44:59.106
So he was somebody who became a high school English teacher in Southern California, but he was having these experiences.

00:44:59.146 --> 00:45:09.052
He kind of thought he was going insane because he would see beings, etc., in all kinds of capacities.

00:45:09.132 --> 00:45:12.074
And then he went to a psychiatrist, or he tried to talk to people about it.

00:45:12.295 --> 00:45:22.065
And for the most part, they were saying, you need to go see a doctor or a psychiatrist if you're having some serious delusions type of thing.

00:45:23.807 --> 00:45:28.612
That just kept leading to more and more of his own exploration.

00:45:28.652 --> 00:45:32.737
So he would go wherever to seek answers.

00:45:33.954 --> 00:45:40.202
And I think a lot of us have gone through something like that that are in this kind of a movement.

00:45:40.804 --> 00:45:44.648
And then he had a breakthrough in 1963 in particular.

00:45:44.668 --> 00:45:54.402
He said from December 3rd to the 23rd, including he had a car accident that he went into a coma for a while.

00:45:55.003 --> 00:45:58.507
And he came out of that a changed person.

00:45:58.849 --> 00:45:59.188
So his...

00:46:00.418 --> 00:46:06.405
his name when he was growing up and he grew up as a Mormon in a coal mining district of Utah.

00:46:07.865 --> 00:46:12.771
So that was a very, you know, down to earth upbringing, but Mormon.

00:46:12.791 --> 00:46:17.858
And he had, you know, he saw those values, but he knew they weren't his values.

00:46:17.978 --> 00:46:20.340
So he started doing exploration on his own.

00:46:20.380 --> 00:46:28.309
And this experience that he had allowed him to see and know things that you go, how do you know that?

00:46:28.802 --> 00:46:31.826
And so that one thing led to another.

00:46:31.885 --> 00:46:35.751
People invited him to talk in their homes.

00:46:35.992 --> 00:46:38.215
So the early part was going to people's homes.

00:46:38.235 --> 00:46:38.735
Very simple.

00:46:39.255 --> 00:46:44.061
After work, after teaching school, he would go in the evenings to people's homes.

00:46:44.121 --> 00:46:46.945
And then he started doing that several days a week.

00:46:47.586 --> 00:46:51.411
And then one thing led to other people started recording his talks.

00:46:51.813 --> 00:46:52.193
Not him.

00:46:52.929 --> 00:46:55.193
He said, I didn't want to form an organization.

00:46:55.213 --> 00:46:57.115
I was very much opposed to it.

00:46:57.916 --> 00:47:00.099
I didn't want to follow him.

00:47:00.960 --> 00:47:01.942
But it just happened.

00:47:03.684 --> 00:47:05.166
Can you make me a copy of that?

00:47:06.728 --> 00:47:22.583
And then one of his co-workers who worked as a PE dance teacher, she's the one who sort of got behind him And then there was one of his students who's still involved.

00:47:22.623 --> 00:47:29.353
They're both still involved all these years later who helped start the organization in the late 60s.

00:47:30.536 --> 00:47:33.201
So his talks began being recorded.

00:47:33.440 --> 00:47:35.244
We have a lot of those recordings.

00:47:35.264 --> 00:47:40.934
1968, then the organization really formed around him.

00:47:40.974 --> 00:47:42.797
People wanted to...

00:47:43.458 --> 00:48:03.646
study with him and and he took it on and then he learned about uh how things work uh and i you know he he says what i teach has already been here it's right not teaching really anything new i'm just teaching in a new way and i go that I get.

00:48:03.728 --> 00:48:04.869
That's what I would tell people.

00:48:04.889 --> 00:48:14.465
I don't know of a better practical life teaching than what he teaches, you know, just about being a human being.

00:48:14.766 --> 00:48:26.206
And then what he knows spiritually or however you reference it, his ability to speak on any subject, going back or met a person.

00:48:26.530 --> 00:48:31.675
who can speak on just about anything in terms of fixing your car.

00:48:31.735 --> 00:48:33.376
And it's like, how do you know this stuff?

00:48:33.496 --> 00:48:37.059
And a lot of times you say, I just do.

00:48:37.900 --> 00:48:48.590
I'd like to say also, having when I first met him, first time I met him physically, as he walked towards me, I went blind and light.

00:48:48.650 --> 00:48:50.693
I couldn't see.

00:48:50.713 --> 00:48:55.097
I didn't understand it mentally, but I couldn't see him.

00:48:55.137 --> 00:48:56.217
It was just...

00:48:56.802 --> 00:49:03.067
brilliant light until his hands emerged out of the light to take my hand.

00:49:03.873 --> 00:49:12.443
So I would say from my experience, which replicated itself many times, he was a lightning rod of waking up.

00:49:13.043 --> 00:49:18.148
So verbally, his teaching was profound and often so practical.

00:49:18.648 --> 00:49:20.891
He was a very practical teacher.

00:49:20.911 --> 00:49:36.210
If, for instance, silly example, but if you were being judgmental of certain picky things in the world, but you didn't clean your kitchen or make your bed, He would know that and he'd say, have you ever thought about making your bed and washing your dishes?

00:49:36.771 --> 00:49:48.885
You know, he would go to practical examples of your consciousness as reflection, but he himself carried an energy that when he walked in the room, the room changed.

00:49:51.007 --> 00:50:00.670
So he carried something that was, I don't know, like a lightning rod of connectivity, like a switch.

00:50:01.371 --> 00:50:09.603
It's like he'd walk in a room and there was a switch you had inside and it just, you left the time with him illumined.

00:50:10.684 --> 00:50:15.992
Maybe he didn't even touch you, but just his presence and what he carried.

00:50:16.713 --> 00:50:21.541
And he was, first time I saw him at that distance, he was a simple man.

00:50:21.561 --> 00:50:23.282
He was not a fancy man.

00:50:23.884 --> 00:50:28.775
First time I saw him, I thought, Goodness, his pants are too short and his socks are white.

00:50:29.516 --> 00:50:40.851
You know, because I'd come from Oktenanda, all this, you know, glorious colors of reds and incense and music.

00:50:41.032 --> 00:50:43.675
No, very simple, but...

00:50:45.378 --> 00:50:48.681
I've never seen a power like it again.

00:50:48.721 --> 00:50:52.865
That's why, and even just listening to his seminars, just listening.

00:50:53.666 --> 00:50:56.369
And when John speaks, I hear John Roger.

00:50:56.608 --> 00:50:58.630
It's like a transmission that goes.

00:50:58.670 --> 00:51:04.958
These are things that we don't talk about a lot, but it just is.

00:51:04.978 --> 00:51:12.684
That transmission of a rod of power of spirit comes through, and you know it by experience.

00:51:13.634 --> 00:51:19.920
It's kind of hard to talk about because it sounds like you could talk about setting yourself up for judgment.

00:51:21.101 --> 00:51:34.034
Sometimes some things are best kept sacred and in our experience, and if it transforms our life to greater loving, caring, and sharing, that's what it's about.

00:51:35.936 --> 00:51:36.577
Wonderful.

00:51:37.038 --> 00:51:41.021
You can imagine how satisfying it is to teach this around the world.

00:51:41.601 --> 00:52:03.666
let's talk about that what is when you say around the world um let's shed a little bit more light on that because i mean i'm i i know what that means but but but tell us tell our audience a little bit more detail about what your experiences are around the world and the groups of people that you are touching

00:52:05.538 --> 00:52:18.099
Well, we have active groups in obviously Europe, South America, Australia, not so much in Asia for whatever reason, but some, you know, some here and there.

00:52:18.119 --> 00:52:20.101
And that was part of it.

00:52:20.141 --> 00:52:24.088
They would invite John Roger in particular to come.

00:52:24.909 --> 00:52:32.923
So he did go to Australia and then that expanded and There's some communities in Africa also.

00:52:33.905 --> 00:52:36.809
So it's that type of thing where people are.

00:52:36.869 --> 00:52:46.065
And then these days, because of Zoom and being able to go online, then it really has become a worldwide movement.

00:52:46.125 --> 00:52:50.092
There's much more people participating online typically than in person.

00:52:50.913 --> 00:53:00.358
We have a seminary, and this was very important to John Roger, And he wanted it to be a seminary of life's teachings.

00:53:00.898 --> 00:53:03.661
So it's a college of philosophy also.

00:53:03.681 --> 00:53:11.471
And he would say, truth is alive wherever you experience it and in whoever you experience it.

00:53:12.771 --> 00:53:15.335
So he said, we steal from the best.

00:53:16.056 --> 00:53:18.778
He would say, I take truth.

00:53:19.539 --> 00:53:26.385
And that was one of the things that was, flung at him, you know, that he was just copying.

00:53:26.425 --> 00:53:30.610
He was mimicking wherever he got this teaching or that teaching.

00:53:30.690 --> 00:53:34.976
And he was going and looking at what other groups were doing.

00:53:35.077 --> 00:53:36.719
And you'd say, well, he'd be taking from here.

00:53:37.802 --> 00:53:42.668
But from a level of he was also, I don't know how to do this.

00:53:42.889 --> 00:53:45.793
You know, it was like a gift came upon him.

00:53:46.402 --> 00:54:09.655
in 1963, particularly in that time period of December when he was in the coma, where he just had knowing, he had awareness about people and then he would do what he called light studies with people or just talk to them about their consciousness and talk to them about past lives and be able to have insight that was bewildering.

00:54:09.675 --> 00:54:12.981
How would you possibly know that about me and be able to tell me about that?

00:54:14.434 --> 00:54:22.003
And he didn't try to explain it because it's like, unless you know how this works, you know, I'm just going to tell you.

00:54:22.043 --> 00:54:25.688
And that was, you know, powerful as well.

00:54:25.728 --> 00:54:30.193
And then we recorded his talks through the years.

00:54:30.253 --> 00:54:38.364
And then he passed over in 1914, so a little over 10 years ago.

00:54:38.403 --> 00:54:42.909
And by that time, I was already designated as president.

00:54:43.041 --> 00:54:48.407
the successor of the mystical traveler consciousness, the keys to what that is.

00:54:48.447 --> 00:54:53.172
And I would say something similar.

00:54:53.213 --> 00:55:00.001
I'm not something like a guru or a great teacher or you know all these things.

00:55:01.563 --> 00:55:05.646
I know them in the moment, and then people often say, well, how do you know that?

00:55:05.686 --> 00:55:07.869
And I just often say, I just know it.

00:55:08.289 --> 00:55:10.393
I know it in a way I can tell you.

00:55:11.132 --> 00:55:12.936
And you go, well, do you have that in a personal way?

00:55:12.996 --> 00:55:15.077
It's like, no, it's not my experience.

00:55:15.157 --> 00:55:17.340
I'm just telling you what I see.

00:55:17.380 --> 00:55:21.146
Or it's sometimes just like an impression.

00:55:21.186 --> 00:55:29.335
And I ask people, do you have or you give me permission to tell you something that I can't prove it to you?

00:55:29.936 --> 00:55:33.440
So if you're looking for that, it's probably better if I don't tell you.

00:55:34.914 --> 00:55:36.516
And that's how this works.

00:55:36.556 --> 00:55:39.621
So he calls it the mystical traveler.

00:55:40.322 --> 00:55:43.628
And even that was like, how did he come up with that?

00:55:43.648 --> 00:55:47.414
He was for a while looking for, what do I call this?

00:55:47.514 --> 00:55:52.222
And really coming in with something, well, what did Jesus call it?

00:55:52.242 --> 00:55:54.306
Or what did Zoroaster call it?

00:55:54.326 --> 00:55:59.434
I mean, that there were many who were mystics, if we go back, and known.

00:55:59.474 --> 00:56:01.197
Some of them weren't very known.

00:56:01.793 --> 00:56:02.514
when

00:56:02.554 --> 00:56:05.539
you say call it are you referring to the knowing

00:56:06.480 --> 00:56:38.114
knowing the consciousness yes and he teaches like he doesn't own it it's not like I possess this and nobody else does no it's very much a universal consciousness and he teaches and we teach it as everybody has this consciousness it's just how awake are you right and then you can you can do things like a build a religion, so you'd say, well, the Hindus, I mean, they had things and the Upanishads.

00:56:38.195 --> 00:56:40.798
And it's like, yes, yes.

00:56:41.380 --> 00:56:44.344
And then I look at like, well, what is it now?

00:56:44.364 --> 00:56:55.739
This is really what's important, that things do evolve and do we evolve with it so that we have a living God, not one that died 2,000 years ago.

00:56:55.780 --> 00:57:10.557
You know, I remember having a conversation a leader in, he was also a medical doctor in Pakistan and Afghanistan.

00:57:11.038 --> 00:57:16.083
And so he was very much knowledgeable and devout as a Muslim.

00:57:17.304 --> 00:57:23.952
And I said to him, do you consider that there could be another prophet after Muhammad?

00:57:23.972 --> 00:57:25.213
He said, absolutely not.

00:57:25.994 --> 00:57:26.235
No.

00:57:26.255 --> 00:57:50.215
And I said, well, doesn't Allah doesn't Allah maybe would let somebody else and he was just completely like that no that's not going to happen and for me it's very different like that that there we can be a Christ consciousness we teach that so and I think Jesus said it well you can do this and greater

00:57:50.735 --> 00:57:51.516
what do you mean greater

00:57:52.780 --> 00:57:57.824
greater I said you will do And I think we're finding out what that is.

00:57:58.224 --> 00:58:00.847
But, you know, he set a very powerful example.

00:58:01.268 --> 00:58:03.030
What would you be willing to do in service?

00:58:03.070 --> 00:58:09.215
And then let's consider he did have powerful gifts of knowledge and wisdom.

00:58:10.235 --> 00:58:13.760
But he, look, who we drew to him were very simple people.

00:58:13.800 --> 00:58:15.942
And I think that was part of the message.

00:58:15.961 --> 00:58:18.063
And that's what we talk about.

00:58:18.103 --> 00:58:27.849
You don't have to be elite and elect and you're better than them in, you know, you don't want to be with them because they're beneath you.

00:58:27.889 --> 00:58:32.836
No, it's as much more, it comes as ordinariness.

00:58:33.719 --> 00:58:34.719
We often talk about that.

00:58:34.760 --> 00:58:37.744
That's the condition prior to waking up to God.

00:58:38.545 --> 00:58:47.998
You're just so ordinary, like down to earth, simple being who happens to be conscious of something that transcends this world.

00:58:49.681 --> 00:58:50.262
That's beautiful.

00:58:50.657 --> 00:59:22.630
well that may be a great place for us to wrap this i'm going to call this our initial conversation because if you guys are willing i would love to to have you both back at another time i know we're going to speak lee in a couple weeks um but i i'd like to yeah i i typically have certain guests that i resonate with and i have them on several times i think you guys definitely qualify as that i think our audience is going to love this this episode and uh I think there's a really strong message that you have here that I'd love to be a part of sharing with others, if you're willing.

00:59:23.291 --> 00:59:23.411
Oh,

00:59:23.490 --> 00:59:23.771
yes.

00:59:23.931 --> 00:59:31.842
Yeah, this is my ministry, and I do it in a consciousness of service, so I don't look at it like I get paid to do it and then it's a duty.

00:59:31.862 --> 00:59:34.505
No, I don't have to, and I want to.

00:59:34.706 --> 00:59:36.668
So that's my message back to you, Ashley.

00:59:36.708 --> 00:59:38.751
I want to, and I'm sure Lee wants to.

00:59:39.271 --> 00:59:40.353
We love being with you, too.

00:59:40.833 --> 00:59:41.454
Wonderful.

00:59:41.494 --> 00:59:44.177
Well, I'm going to hit pause on the record.

00:59:44.237 --> 00:59:49.143
If you guys could just stay on for a little bit, I'd like to just wrap this up off camera.

00:59:49.184 --> 00:59:54.590
But thank you again, John Morton, Lee Taylor Young from the Movement of Spiritual Inner Awareness.

00:59:54.690 --> 00:59:58.735
And the website, John, is msia.org?

00:59:59.396 --> 00:59:59.735
Yes.

01:00:00.257 --> 01:00:08.206
And there's another one I have specifically called johnmortonministries.org.

01:00:09.346 --> 01:00:09.806
Wonderful.

01:00:10.588 --> 01:00:10.949
Okay.

01:00:11.528 --> 01:00:13.512
Mine would be lty.org.

01:00:14.134 --> 01:00:14.875
Dot com.

Lty.com.

01:00:21.846 --> 01:00:23.027
Thank you so much, both of you.

01:00:23.047 --> 01:00:23.789
It's been wonderful.

01:00:25.931 --> 01:00:32.101
If you're looking to improve your memory or lower your stress and inflammation, you got to hear about our new sponsor, Ignaton.

01:00:33.409 --> 01:00:38.956
Ignaton is the world's first quantum wellness brand, merging ancient energetics with cutting-edge physics.

01:00:39.358 --> 01:00:40.338
And this stuff really works.

01:00:40.438 --> 01:00:42.402
It's clinically proven, and we'll talk about that in a second.

01:00:43.222 --> 01:00:45.646
Their formulas are charged with something called ignatons.

01:00:46.246 --> 01:00:51.574
They're subatomic quasi-particles from the sun and originally identified in private research at CERN.

01:00:52.074 --> 01:00:53.056
This is heavy physics.

01:00:53.916 --> 01:01:00.766
Ignaton's space-age technology entangles these particles with supplement ingredients to supercharge them and make them work better.

01:01:01.409 --> 01:01:36.179
what makes this really exciting in university-led peer-reviewed studies igni cognition igniton's flagship brain formula was shown to improve total memory by a hundred percent in just 30 days that includes short-term operational and working memory it's crazy the igni longevity formula their cellular stress and aging formulation reduced inflammation markers, like C-reactive protein, or CRP, and interleukin-6, or IL-6, by 37% and 54% respectively in just 60 days.

01:01:36.920 --> 01:01:37.702
Huge impact.

01:01:38.744 --> 01:01:44.056
These studies were compared to both placebo and to the same supplement ingredients that were not charged with ignitons.

01:01:44.865 --> 01:01:45.586
This isn't hype.

01:01:45.806 --> 01:01:52.893
It's clinical, quantum-enhanced nutrition designed to help your body align with higher levels of clarity, coherence, and resilience.

01:01:53.634 --> 01:01:58.117
I've been using both formulations now for about 60 days, and seriously, I've never felt better.

01:01:58.137 --> 01:02:08.168
I'm sharper, I have more energy, I recover faster from my workouts, I don't get that afternoon swoon, and I'm even sleeping through the night, every night.
